On the same stage, he also received S.M Tuli Best Case Report Award for the publication on Reftractory Teitze Syndrome. Dr. Arun Kumar is the first and only spine surgeon from both the telugu states to have received these awards. In the year 2020, he won the prestigious Vyaghreswarudu Gold Medal from the Andhra Pradesh State Orthopaedic Association.
