Dr. Aanchal Garg graduated with distinction in several subjects from the prestigious King George Medical College KGMC Lucknow. She completed her post-graduation from GSVM Kanpur and passed DNB in first attempt from Command Hospital Central Command, Lucknow. She started her practice as an Obstetrician & Gynecologist in Lucknow and independently and efficiently handled difficult and complicated cases as well as emergencies. She has 12 years of experience in the field. During her practice she developed a keen interest in Infertility and wanted to pursue it. In pursuit of her passion she underwent a Fellowship program in IVF at a reputed centre. Later, she had the privilege of learning IVF from the pioneers of IVF in India at Hinduja Hospital Mumbai and also did an advanced training in Embryology at Origo Embryology center in Mumbai. She has done Basic and Advanced training in Reproductive Medicine and IVF- Homerton University hospital London UK. She is an active member of Indian Fertility Society and FOGSI has helped in conducting workshops in IFS conference. She keeps attending conferences and workshops to keep herself updated with the recent trends in the management of infertile couples. Her areas of interest are recurrent miscarriages, poor ovarian reserve, PCOS, and repeated IVF failures. She was a Senior Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology Department and IVF Unit in Charak Hospital Lucknow from 2014 to 2017. She established the IVF unit and Obs. and Gynae department in Charak Hospital and independently looked after the working and management of the IVF Unit. A high achiever in her school, St.Agnes Loreto Day School and College-Loreto Convent Lucknow and has actively participated in extracurricular activities and won awards in painting and music besides academics. She strongly believes in Ethical practice and Ensures that patients become a part of the decision making process of individualized treatment protocols suited for them. Being a compassionate doctor, she gives a patient hearing to the couple seeking her care and tries to solve the queries and doubts disturbing them. She believes that relieving the stress that couples undergo during the treatment of infertility also has an important role in the management of the conditions and helps them in achieving a positive outlook.
