Dr Raghavendra underwent further training in Liver Transplantation and Advanced liver surgery at Medanta The Medicity, Gurgaon, Delhi NCR and continued as Consultant Liver Transplant surgeon. He also worked as senior consultant liver Transplant surgeon at Yashoda Hospitals, Hyderabad. He received several awards and travel grants during his training. He was involved in all varieties of adult and paediatric living donor liver transplantations for various clinical indications over the last 13 years with excellent outcomes. He was actively involved in research in the field of liver transplantation, particularly living donor volumetrics, living donor fat estimation. He worked on the innovative functional liver imaging and functional liver volume estimations before major and complex liver surgeries. Dr Raghavendra published papers in eminent medical journals like Annals of Surgery, JOP, Clinical Transplant, Journal of Paediatric Surgery, Transplant Proceedings etc. In addition, he has several international presentations and an invited faculty at national scientific meetings and several institutions.
