Aug 1983 – Dec 1986: Worked as a clinician in various Hospitals and Polyclinics of Indian Army and was involved in delivering primary preventive and promotive health care to personnel and families of Indian Army. International Exposure- During 1993, he was selected by Army HQ and was entrusted with the task of providing Specialist cover as a Consultant Physician to the various International Armies of UN mission at Cambodia. He had done special work related to the treatment of a large number of Malaria and Tuberculosis cases. The work done was appreciated by WHO at a conference held at Pnom Penh in Sep 1993.
