He is appointed as a member of the Advisory Board of American Diabetes Association (2021 to 2022) - A rare distinction for an Indian doctor. He is also a committee member Diabetes Resource Centre for American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE). He is a fellow of Royal college of Physicians (FRCP Glasgow as well as Edinburgh),Fellow of American College of Physicians (FACP), Diabetes India, Indian College of Physicians, Indian Association of Clinical medicine and Geriatric Society of India.
