He was conferred with the coveted “Highly Commended Endodontist of the Year” by the house of Famdent in Mumbai in Dec 2013 and again in 2014 – two years in a row. He was also awarded the ICDRO Innovation award at the ICDRO World Congress in 2011, at Pune for his pioneering work in endodontic research. He is a much sought after keynote speaker at national and international forums and has contributed a book chapter to a leading textbook of Endodontics published internationally by Quintessence Publications besides other journal publications.
