Dr Siva.G.Prasad

Dr Siva G Prasad, consultant orthopedic surgeon of world famous Apollo Hospitals, Visakhapatnam obtained his degree in medicine from M.K.C.G.Medical College , Berhampur in 1992. Later, he got his post-graduate degree, M.S(orthopaedics) from V S S Medical College, Burla in the base of Hirakud Dam. He underwent training under the guidance of renowned orthopaedic surgeons and teachers like Prof P.T. Rao. Besides having basic foundation in orthopaedic surgery, Dr Sivaji, that is how he is fondly called, is in the know of latest surgical techniques. He attended several national as well as international conferences and presented papers. As soon as he passed MS Ortho in 2006, he joined NRI General Hospital, an upcoming Medical college at Tagarapuvalasa where he performed the first joint replacement surgery in 2007. 1st of In rural vizag. He joined the prestigious Apollo Hospitals as Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon in 2009. He became an honorary Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon in INHS Kalyani Hospital(Eastern Naval Command) in 2010. He performed the first knee replacement surgery in the history of INHS Kalyani. He has been bestowed with Fellowship in Knee Replacement at Germany where he underwent training in computer navigation in Knee Replacement. He was also trained at Singapore and Vienna(Austria). Dr Siva G Prasad has treated many patients including those from abroad under medical tourism.
