Dr Nishant Ohri

Dr Nishant Ohrifinished finished his MD in Psychiatry in 2017 and since then has worked in medical college and civil hospital on various posts involving OPD consultations, teaching undergraduates and research. His research works include the themes of gender and sexuality in adolescence, body image and self-esteem and burnout in first responders and in ICU staff. He has presented papers and case studies in various National and International Conference (conducted by World Psychiatric Society and European Psychiatric Society). He also provided service in the District hospital Covid ward during the pandemic. His special areas of interest are child and adolescent cognitive development, learning and epistemology. I believe that flexibility of thought and coping mechanisms, if inculcated in children through experiential and collaborative learning models, can lead to life-long resilience against mental disorders and personality issues. In the past he was associated with Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Govt. Hospital on a contractual basis as a Psychiatric consultant.
