Dr P Muthukumaran

Dr. P. Muthukumaran is a Neurologist and Neurointerventionist practicing in Tirunelveli. He completed his MD General Medicine from the renowned Christian Medical College, Vellore and DM Neurology from the internationally recognized National Institute of Mental Health and Neurological Sciences (NIMHANS). He further completed his Neurointervention fellowship in Kochi. He has secured gold medals in medicine (Dr Nandakumar Memorial Gold Medal) and pathology (Dr Balakumar Memorial Gold Medal) and was a best outgoing graduate (GV Memorial Gold Medal) in my MBBS. He specialises in the treatment of neurological disorders including Stroke, Parkinson's disease, Epilepsy, Neuropathies, Myasthenia Gravis and other muscle disorders, Multiple sclerosis and other immunological disorders, Dementia, and Sleep disorders. He is also a neurointerventionist and he is proficient in diagnostic angiograms, carotid stenting, thrombectomy for acute stroke and endovascular management of aneurysms (Coiling and Flow Diverters).
