ANo. If correcty performed, fissue in ano surgery should not cause incontinance. 1. Temporary / Short-Term (Common & Normal)During the initial 4 to 8 weeks after surgery, while the muscle and tissue heal, 3% to 5% of patients may experience mild, temporary leakage. This usually presents as slight difficulty controlling gas (flatus) or minor liquid soiling. For the vast majority of patients, this resolves completely as muscle function stabilizes. 2. Long-Term / Permanent Incontinence (Rare)Long-term or severe fecal incontinence occurs in less than 1% to 3% of cases.Surgeons tailor the procedure (performing a conservative or partial sphincterotomy) to cut only as much muscle as strictly necessary to release the spasm while protecting your baseline muscle tone.
AIf your mother is havinh T2DM, periphera neuropathy can lead to feet and leg moderate edema. If she has any cardiac, renal or hepatic problems, that too can lead to feet ald legs swelling. Another reason in case of T2DM is Acute Charcot Arthropathy. Loc examination and X Rays will have to be done for diagnosis and such a case please consult a diabetic foot or podiatric surgeon as soon as possible.
