Dr. Sasikumar Sambasivam is a Consultant Radiation Oncologist and Palliative Care Physician. His area of interests are Organ preservation in Cancer Therapy, Technical advancements in Radiation therapy, Breast, cervical, Head and neck cancers and Brain tumors. Experience in the field of Radiation Oncology includes the conventional 2D, 3Dimensional Conformal Radiation Therapy, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy, Image Guided Radiotherapy, SBRT, SRS, SRT (X knife and Cyberknife VLSI) and Tomotherapy. He is currently the Head /Coordinator of Dept of Radiation Oncology, Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Centre for Oncology, Meenakshi Hospital, Thanjavur., Tamil Nadu, India. Publications in International Journals to his credit.
