MD in Microbiology, with a vast 20+ years’ cross-industry experience (including Lab Management, Clinical Research, Quality Assurance, Laboratory Accreditation, Medico-marketing, Diagnostic Product Development, Product Management and Journal Review). In the past, I have worked at some of the premiere medical institutions in the country such as Nair Hospital, KEM Hospital and headed the Microbiology & Infectious Serology Division at SRL Diagnostics Mumbai. Lateral Industry experience with Lilac Medicare (then a Tulip Group Company) has widened my knowledge and understanding of the diagnostic tests development and commercialisation domain. I am also a Laboratory Assessor with NABL since 2006. Currently, I am the Medical Director of my self-owned Clinical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases Laboratory in Thane.
