Dr Varun Bafna

Dr. Varun Bafna has pursued DNB (Haematology and Haemato-Oncology) from Mazumdar Shaw Centre, Narayana Hospital, Bangalore. He has various Medical Academic awards under his name. He currently treats patients with Haematological disorders. For Adults and Paediatric patients both, he specialises in leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma, MDS and host of immunodeficiency disorders. He is a treating physician for patients undergoing autologous, allogeneic stem cell transplantations. Currently our team is performing autologous, allogeneic transplants with graft manipulations, performing transplants from unrelated donors, mismatched donors, and partially matched donors. I’m efficient in managing post-transplant complications and managing long term effects of treatment of cancers. He is a member of Indian Society for Haematology and Transfusion Medicine and also Association of Physicians of India.
