Dr. Singaravelu Thiyagarajan says "I have 16 years of clinical experience in the field of Psychiatry. After completing my postgraduate training at the Institute of Mental Health, Chennai, I spent 14 years in the UK, working in various sub specialties in Psychiatry including Child and Adolescents Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry, Older Adults Psychiatry and General Psychiatry. I have the expertise in managing psychiatric disorders including depression, anxiety disorders, psychosis, bipolar disorders, medically unexplained symptoms, psychosexual disorders, dementia, alcohol/substance abuse and childhood mental health disorders including ADHD and ASD. I have had training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Analytical Therapy and Family Therapy and I use these principles in my clinical practice. I am a Honorary Clinical Teacher at Dundee University, Scotland and I have involved in NHS portfolio research during my training in UK."
