Dr. Bharati R. Morey is the founder of Shakuntala Women’s Hospital and Infertility Centre, which was setup on 30th June 1994. Dr. Bharati R. Morey passed MD (Obseterics & Gynaecology) in 1989 from Mumbai University. She has served as the President for the NMOGS (Navi Mumbai Obstetrics & Gynaecological Society) and has conducted many CMEs and also conducted free medical check-up camps for the women of Navi Mumbai for the years 2013 to 2015. She has been an Active Managing Committee member of the Navi Mumbai Obstetric & Gynaecological Society from 2004, since its inception. She has worked as a member for FOGSI (Federation of Obstetrics & Gynaecological Society of India). Safe Motherhood Committee with Dr. Sadhana Gupta which won the best committee award at the AICOG 2014. Dr Bharati Morey has also attended the TOT(Training for Trainers) Programme for the same and conducted several programs as a National Trainer for the FOGSI –HMS(Helping Mothers Survive) Programme, under the guidance of Dr. Alpesh Gandhi. As a National Trainer for the FOGSI – DIPSI programme for the GDM (Gestational Diabetes Mellitus), Dr. Bharati has conducted numerous training program for the medical students of all the medical colleges of Navi Mumbai, grooming them to be competent doctors . Dr. Bharati Morey, as the Organising Chairperson, for the 28th Annual Conference of the AMOGS-The Association of Maharashtra Obstetric & Gynaecological Society in January 2014, gave one of the most successful conferences in the history of AMOGS. She is an active member of the FOGSI Oncology & Trophoblastic Tumours Committee since Jan 2013 and conducted many free PAP Smear Camps across Navi Mumbai.
