Dr Vijay Patil Is An Orthopaedic Surgeon And Specialist Hand And Upper Limb Surgeon. After Completing His Orthopaedic Training In Pune, India He Furtherd His Higher Orthopaedic Training In The Uk In 2002 And Obtained Mrcs Surgery (Edin, Uk), Diploma In Trauma Surgery (Swansea University, Uk) And Frcs Ortho(Edin, Uk). In Addition To Extensive General Orthopaedic Training, Dr Vijay Patil Has Worked In Prestigious Hospitals In The Uk In Specialist Units Such As – Arthroplasty, Paediatric Orthopaedics, Foot And Ankle Surgery, Complex Trauma And Spine Surgery Before Embarking On Higher Fellowship Training In Hand And Upper Limb Surgery In Specialist Units In The Uk, France And 2015 He Returned To Mumbai, Where He Is Currently Practicing As A Consultant Hand And Upper Limb Surgeon. His Particular Interests Include Complex Upper Limb Trauma, Nerve And Tendon Surgery, Arthritis, Sports Injury To Upper Limb, Congenital Hand Anomalies And Cerebral Palsy Management. Dr Vijay Patil Has A Keen Interest In Teaching Medical Students And Training Orthopaedic Surgeons To Prepare For Their Exit Examinations In The Uk As Well As In India.
