Dr Tushar Sambhaji Jadhav

Dr.Tushar Jadhav is a superspecialty diplomat of national board in Surgical Oncology from National Cancer Institute , Kolkata and completed his postdoctoral fellowship in renowned Tata Memorial Hospital and research centre , Mumbai and Medica Superspecialty centre, Kolkata.He has completed his Masters in General Surgery under Mumbai University and graduated as MBBS under Shivaji University, Kolhapur. To pursue his interest in oncoplasty, he has been trained in various flap reconstructions including microvascular free flap surgeries and skull base approaches from Amrita Institute of Head Neck sciences, Kochi and National university hospital, Singapore. He is a global fellow of international federation of Head Neck Oncology. During his career of 8 years as Surgical oncologist , Dr. Tushar Jadhav had an opportunity to manage successfully of more than 1000 cases of breast cancers and more than 500 cases of head neck cancers. He performs various operative procedures like wire guided mammo localisation and excision, Hadsfield dissection, breast conservation surgeries with advanced level oncoplasty, mastectomies with whole breast reconstrcution- implant based/without implants, nipple- areola reconstructions, micro-dochectomies, sentinel lymph nodes biopsies, axillary clearance, composite resection with flap reconstruction, various maxillectomies, various thyroidectomies,laryngectomies, hemi- subtotal- total glossectomy with / without reconstructions, various neck dissection, advanced ovarian cytoreductive surgeries, extrafascial radical hysterectomies, BPLND, RPLND, inguinal block dissection, colorectal sphincter preserving resection name few. He has special focus on Breast cancers and oncoplasty. He got trained for various oncoplasty techniques, implant and nonimplant based whole breast reconstruction techniques at Guy's Hospital, London and ESSO courses at Naples, Itlay. He has been M.Ch in breast oncoplasty under University of East Anglia, U.K. His vision is to provide holistic approach to breast cancers – from prevention to application. He has undergone training in cytoreductive surgeries and HIPEC at Hamburg , Germany He is a life member of various national associations like Association of Surgeons of India, Indian association of surgical Oncology, Association Of Mumbai Consultants, Association Of breast surgeons of India, Indian Medical association He is a member of international associations like European society of Surgical Oncology( ESSO) and Society of Surgical Oncology ( SSO) His vision is to serve patients with ethical practice with utmost skills and comprehension. He has been focused upon Reconstructive oncosurgery and organ preserving protocols. He believes in work with high academic , moral and ethical values and wishes to pursue these principles in practice and pursue excellence.
