Dr Mangesh Mohod is a consultant oral and maxillofacial surgeon with an exceptional surgical expertise in his field. After completing his graduation (BDS) from Government Dental College and Hospital, Mumbai which is Maharashtra’s top dental teaching and training institute with outstanding academic records , he pursued his post graduation (MDS) in Oral and maxillofacial surgery from Asia’s prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi. Dr Mangesh is an invariably confident, courteous and soft-spoken surgeon. His passion for maxillofacial surgery has been continuously appreciated during his 3 years residency at AIIMS. His field of interest includes facial corrective and aesthetic surgeries, maxillofacial pathologies, maxillofacial soft tissue and hard tissue trauma, temporomandibular disorders, orthognathic (jaw correction) surgeries. He has excellent surgical hand over minor oral surgical procedures like wisdom tooth removal, dental implants and sinus lift surgeries. Along with the thorough training in the AO principles of Craniomaxillofacial trauma treatment he has a vast experience of independently operating all kind of maxillofacial trauma at Jai Prakash Narayan Apex Trauma Center, AIIMS, New Delhi for around 6 month during his residency.
