Dr Arvind Thakur

Dr. Arvind Thakur is Head, Department of Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery at Fortis Hospital Mulund, Mumbai and Fortis Hiranandani Hospital, Vashi, Navi Mumbai. Dr. Thakur earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from MUHS in first class. Dr. Thakur then completed his Masters in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and was a topper in his batch. His master thesis was selected for publication in a prestigious international journal. Post completion of his masters, Dr. Thakur conducted research on stability implants in mandible and maxilla bone and got it published in International journal of Orthodontics. Dr. Thakur has also received numerous awards and accolades. His paper on implant stability got the first prize at Maharashtra dental conference. Dr. Thakur has a strong industry interface and has authored more than 12 national and international publications and presented several papers in national conferences. Dr. Thakur is also specialized in lingual (invisible) braces and certified Osstem (US FDA approved) Implantologist. His special interests include the treatment of complex multi-disciplinary and adult orthodontic cases.
