He graduated from Mahatma Gandhi Mission’s Medical College, Navi Mumbai. He took up dermatology as a postgraduate specialization at Topiwala National Medical College & B.Y.L Nair Ch. Hospital, Mumbai Central. He started delivering lectures in G.S. Medical College and K.E.M Hospital as an Asst. Professor in Dermatology department. Since his medical days, he dreamt of starting a unique dermatology clinic that catered to the cosmetic and hair concerns in addition to curing skin ailments. Here he met his mentor and teacher in Dr. Rachita Dhurat who continues to be his guiding force in life. The zeal to get trained in Trichology and Dermatosurgery was duly recognized by his mentor who encouraged him to take up the challenge of going to Israel to train in hair restoration surgeries under the expert guidance of Dr.Alex Ginzburg. He completed his MD in Dermatology securing Gold Medal in his university examinations. Dr. Sunil Mishra had a special interest in hair and hair related disorders. So he took up life membership of International Journal of Trichology, during his postgraduate training days. Also, the subject of hair restoration surgery fascinated him to the extent that he went to Israel to get trained himself by one of the world’s best hair transplant surgeon and former president of International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, Dr. Alex Ginzburg. Dr. Alex Ginzburg is a pioneer in Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) and is performing hair restoration surgeries since 22 years in Israel. Since then, Dr. Sunil Mishra has been doing Hair Transplantation from his clinic in Mumbai.Dr. Sunil Mishra is also a member of International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) which is a prestigious organization worldwide for hair restoration.
