After coming back from Sweden in 2003, he joined renowned L. V. P Eye Institute, Hyderabad as a consultant where he worked as a consultant for nearly 4 years. Later on, he joined Bombay City Eye Institute & Research Centre as consultant & head in glaucoma department. Here he also started department of clinical research. Along with Dr. Shefali Parikh, he fulfilled his long cherished desire of starting tertiary care centre for glaucoma in Mumbai in December 2010. He has been invited to deliver lectures at various national and international conferences that includes world glaucoma congress, south east glaucoma interest group meeting, American Academy of Ophthalmology, Asia Pacific Ophthalmology Association conference, international congress on glaucoma surgery, AIOS annual conference, glaucoma society of Indian annual conference. So far, he has delivered more than 100 invited lectures in last 6 years. To generate public awareness in glaucoma, he has organized various public meetings and eye camps.
