Dr.Vishak Acharya is a renowned Pulmonologist associated with Kasturba Medical College (Mangalore).His area is expertise lies in Critical care medicine, allergies, Interstitial Lung diseases, TB, Asthma, cysts fibrosis, complex pulmonary infections,Bronchoscopic procedures and Pulmonary interventional procedures.Dr.Vishak's area of interest lies in Infectious diseases, Lung Malignancies, Asthma and lung cancer.He has been the president of the Mangalore Chest Association from 2010 to 2012.Apart from being a Life Member of the National College of Chest Physicians, National Board Of Medical Sciences, Indian Chest Society and Indian Medical Association Dr.Vishak is a certified internal auditor for QMS. His approach lies in practising personalised care to fit a patients individual condition and situation. Dr.Vishak currently teaches Pulmonary Medicine and also guides undergraduate students in ICMR research at Kasturba Medical College (Mangalore).
