Dr.B.Vishwanath Tantry a senior consultant gastroenterologist and hepatologist currently associated with KMC (Mangalore).He specialises in diagnosis and treatment of diseases of digestive system such as acidity problems, abdominal pain, bleeding in digestive tract, constipation and diarrhoea and difficulty swallowing. Dr.Vishwanathss expertise lies in evaluation and treating conditions that affect the oesophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine and biliary system, chornic liver diseases, and Inflammatory bowel diseases. He has special interest in Stem Cell Therapy in Cirrhosis and Chornic Liver Diseases. Dr.Vishwanath teaches Gastroenterology to MBBS and PG students and is also involved in clinical work at KMC hospitals. Dr.Vishwanath is known for overseeing all aspects of care when patient comes for an initial evaluation till they return home safe.
