Dr.S.Sanathkumar, a cardiothoracic surgeon by profession had this ambition since childhood. He graduated from People’s friendship university ,Moscow, Russia and underwent 6 years rigorous post graduate training in Cardiothoracic and vascular surgery from Meenakshi Mission Hospital and research centre, Madurai. Apollo Hospitals Madurai welcomed him to their cardiac team as a registrar and through expertise and hard work he got promoted as a consultant in the team over 5 years. Dr. Madhavan’s Heart Centre in Madurai is where he works currently since 6 months as the Head and consultant of Cardiothoracic unit, establishing the unit independently and performing Open heart surgery and CABG
