Dr. Shashank Nigam MS (General Surgery, KGMU, Lucknow), DNB (General Surgery), MNAMS, MRCS (Edinburgh), Fellowship Surgical Oncology (Tata Medical Center, Kolkata), Fellowship Breast Surgery (Tata Medical Center, Kolkata), Fellowship Breast Oncoplastic Surgery (Oxford University Hospital, UK), Ex-trainee Surgical Oncology (Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai), Ex-Senior Resident Breast & Endocrine Surgery (KGMU, Lucknow) He is a lifetime member of Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), Indian Association of Surgical Oncology (IASO), European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO) as well as the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). Apart from clinical work, he is also a very keen researcher, with several publications to his credit, and has contributed chapters in distinguished text books as a co-author. His areas of special interest include: Holistic management of all organ-site cancers which includes diagnostic work-up, counselling, treatment and follow up.
