Dr Saurabh Agrawal

Hailing from a family of surgeons, Dr. Saurabh diversified into urology as his field of super-specialisation. Dr. Saurabh completed his basic specialization (MBBS) from the reputed KGMU in 1997 with honors. Dr. Saurabh completed his super-specialisation in Urology from the very prestigious SGPGI in 2007. Having spent years in the fiza 'of Lucknow, it was very natural to open a center in Lucknow itself, keeping in spirit of " Lucknow hum so hai, hum Lucknow se" Dr. Saurabh Agrawal has been a pioneer in introducing lasers in urology. He worked as the chief urologist at RG Stone Centre in Mayo Hospital from 2009 till 2011. He encouraged and propagated laser prostate surgery and laser stone surgery. The addition of flexible ureteroscope has simplified laser surgeries. He has organized various camps and workshops in and around Lucknow, in places like Bahraich, Gonda,faizabad, etc propagating the use of lasers in urology. His articles - lasers and stone management, have been published in leading newspapers like Dainik Jagran, Hindustan Times, Times Of India. Dr. Saurabh Agrawal has also shown the keen interest in managing female urinary problems. He regularly performs TOT surgery for female stress urinary incontinence and regularly conducts talks and seminars in All India Radio, Lucknow station regarding the same.
