Dr Sudipto Das

Sudipto Das has a strong clinical background and training in Medicine and Rheumatology. Has completed specialist training in Rheumatology in UK and attained the certificate of completion (CCT). Following attainment of CCT, doctor joined as Consultant Rheumatologist and Osteoporosis lead in a teaching hospital in NHS, UK. This role given further exposure to a wide variety of Rheumatological diseases and complications. The aim is to provide holistic care to my patients and practise Rheumatology exclusively. Dr. Sudipto Das has done three years of research in the UK. The research has helped to develop an insight into the complex world of biologics, which will helps in planning management of the diseases. Dr. Sudipto Das continues to be an active member of the teaching faculty of the department, contributing actively to the teaching of junior doctors and allied health professionals. During the clinical training, Dr. Sudipto Das took the initiative to train himself in ultrasound of joints. Has attended basic and advanced ultrasound courses along with a course to learn guided injection techniques. Has acquired EULAR certificate course in ultrasound. Doctor has also familiarised with the techniques of capillaroscopy, which is a useful tool in managing connective tissue problems. Doctor is providing structured rheumatology care in Kolkata. His goal is to develop the service in Medica Superspeciality Hospital further, and provide standardised care over wider geographical areas.
