Dr.Sankha Subhra Das completed undergraduateship in the year 1995 from medical college, Calcutta. Was the first house staff to be trained in paediatric cardiology in SSKMhospital during the period . Entered as a postgraduate diploma trainee in chest medicine in IPGME&R, Kolkata in the year 1997. Completed his diploma in pulmonary medicine in the year 1999. Entered medical college, Calcutta in the year 2000 as a postgraduate trainee in general medicine. He completed MD in general medicine in the year 2003 from medical college, Calcutta. Joined BM Birla heart research centre in the year 2003 as a registrar in cardiology. Managed acute cardiac patients in the CCU as well as in the ward. Worked till 2004. Left for the UK in 2004 for clearing plab & mrcp. Completed mrcp (UK) in the year 2005 and came back. Joined super-speciality DNB cardiology course in the year 2007; cleared DNB cardiology exam in the year 2010 from G B Pant Hospital, New Delhi.
