Dr. Indrani Lodh is a Consultant Gynaecologist, specialising in IVF, IUI, OBGYN, Maternity, Infertility , Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy. She has over 30 years of experience and practises in leading hospitals and nursing homes of Kolkata like Apollo Gleneagles, Columbia Asia, Bhagirathi Neotia Woman & Child Care Centre, Woodlands, Bellevue and Dewan Medical Centre. She excels in surgical skills in advanced laparoscopic techniques such as laparoscopic hysterectomy, ovarian cystectomy, endometriosis ablation for infertility treatment, as well as all other fertility related issues like fertility enhancing surgeries. Graduated from Calcutta Medical College (MBBS) , Dr Lodh is one of the best Gynaecologists of the Country. She is the receiver of awards such as “ President’s Award for the Best Lady Medical Graduate in 1987-88”. She is the winner of 17 medals and scholarships during the MBBS course in Medical College. She was also the Gold medallist and Topper of her batch in MS OBGYN in Medical College, Indore. . Her expert hand in minimal invasive procedures for treatment of heavy bleeding such as transcervical resection of endometrium, hysteroscopic resection of fibroids and endometrial ablation, is par excellence. During her tenure as a registrar in different hospitals she worked in busy obstetric units with more than 10,000 annual deliveries, dealt with medium to high risk pregnancies effectively, and has solved innumerable fertility issues.She was a senior consultant and laparoscopic surgeon in Institute of Reproductive Medicine Kolkata under the aegis of Prof BN.Chakravarty,who is her prime inspiration. Having trained and practised for so long, she now has her own clinic–URVARAA ( meaning “ a fertile woman “) , which is a one stop solution for all women for all their feminine issues of which she is the founder Medical Director. Dr Lodh’s aim is to provide the best diagnostics and solutions in her field, under her strict supervision.
