Dr. Abhishek Basu is a renowned Clinical Oncologist practicing in Kolkata having an experience of more than 10 years in this field. He has completed his MBBS and MD (Radiotherapy) from Medical College, Kolkata with Honours and Gold Medal and his DNB (Radiotherapy) from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi where he obtained the Dr. Satyapal Agarwal Gold Medal for topping the examination among students all over India. He has also completed Professional Diploma in Clinical Research (PDCR). He is a member of reputed organizations like ASCO – American Society of Clinical Oncology, ASTRO – American Society for Therapeutic Radiation Oncology, ESTRO – European SocieTy for Radiotherapy and Oncology, ESMO – European Society for Medical Oncology, IASLC – International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer & AROI – Association of Radiation Oncologists of India, IMA – Indian Medical Association, IBS – Indian Brachytherapy Society, Member Executive Committee and Scientific Committee of AROI, West Bengal chapter. He has numerous research publications in International and National peer reviewed journals and has presented his research as invited faculty in a number of reputed conferences.
