Dr Jasmeet Singh Ahluwalia

The only board-certified Bariatric & Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon in the region. After passing his MS Surgery from GMC, Patiala, he went on to train in advanced laparoscopy from the known name in this field – Dr. Palanivelu C. at GEM Hospital, Coimbatore. He cleared his FNB-Minimal Access Surgery under him and also published three papers during that tenure. Later he worked as Consultant Bariatric, Diabetic and Laparoscopic Surgeon at Vikram Hospital, Bangalore. But to have multi-national experience in his field, he later joined an international fellowship in Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery abroad during that period which he published 4 papers and co-authored 3 book chapters. With all this experience he chose to come back to the place he belongs to – the city beautiful – Jalandhar.
