Dr Uma Yadagri

Dr. Uma Yadagiri graduated from Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad in 1995. She moved to the US for further studies where she completed her family medicine residency program, MD from Allegheny University Hospitals in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr.Uma worked for 15 years as a primary care physician taking care of outpatient and inpatient population at federally qualified health care centers and in private practice before moving back to India in 2014. As a primary care physician, she is trained to take care of common illnesses including infections and also chronic diseases including but not limited to Diabetes, Hypertension, Thyroid problems, high Cholesterol, Depression, Anxiety, Asthma, Preventive medicine etc. She believes in spending adequate time with patients, learning and understanding their medical background and lifestyle before addressing specific symptoms in a comprehensive manner. Her special interests are counseling patients on lifestyle habits.
