Dr Sunil Kapoor

Dr. Sunil Kapoor is a Senior Interventional Cardiologist attached to Apollo Hospitals, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad with a busy consultation practice, treating thousands of cardiac patients every year. His alternative centre of practice is Hyderabad Nursing Home, Hyderabad where he is available all days of the week with the exclusion of Sundays. One of the founder members of the CARE Hospitals Group in Hyderabad, Dr. Kapoor has served as Director of the CARE Heart Institute and Chief of the Cardiology division of CARE Hospitals in the addition to his medical studies from Osmania University, Dr. Kapoor has also received specialised training in Interventional Cardiology at institutions in the USA, such as the Harvard Medical School, Washington Adventist Hospital, Sequoia Hospital, Boston Children's Hospital and San Francisco Heart Institute. Dr. Kapoor has been involved in numerous research studies and investigations in the cardiac field, including as Principal Investigator for an indigenous drug-coated stent project. He is a Visiting Professor in Cardiology at the Arizona Heart Institute (USA), and regularly gets invited as International Faculty to Cardiology conferences around the world.
