Diagnosis and treatment of all Benign Haematology cases including but not limited to Myelodysplastic, Myeloproliferative diseases, Aplastic Anaemias, Venous & Arterial thrombosis, Haemophilias, bleeding disorders and other challenging Haematological diseases. Diagnosis and treatment of all kinds of Haematological and Solid malignancies, including but not restricted to Leukemias, Lymphomas, Multiple Myeloma, Breast, Lung, Colorectal, Liver, Kidney, Brain, Prostate, Genitourinary and Gynaecological cancers, Sarcomas. Bone marrow biopsies Autologous as well as Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplants Clinical Experience: Dr. Suguna graduated from the Andhra Medical College in Vishakhapatnam, India and then completed her residency in Internal medicine, followed by Fellowship in Haematology and Oncology from Howard University Hospital, Washington DC. She was awarded the “Best Intern And Resident Of The Year” consecutively for three years during her training. Dr. Suguna founded her Haematology Oncology Care practice that was affiliated to Inova Hospitals based in Virginia, USA. She was recognized as “America’s Top Physicians 2011”, by consumer research council of America. She is well recognized as an Excellent, Compassionate and Outstanding Physician by her patients and peers. She has actively participated in research and gave oral presentations at ACP and HUH Scientific forums during her residency and fellowship training. She has given several presentations on Cancer Awareness & screening in both US & in India. She published abstracts and articles in international journals like JNMA, Blood, etc. She has actively volunteered by participating in screening breast exams; PAP smears, etc., She is currently working as a consultant Medical Oncologist & Haematologist at American Oncology Institute, Citizen Hospitals, Hyderabad. Dr. Chirla is a diplomat of American Board of Internal Medicine and subspecialties, and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Oncology & Haematology. She is as an Associate Member of American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Haematology, and American College of Physicians.
