Dr Santosh kumar Ambulge

Dr. Santoshkumar Ambulge is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and endoscopist at Citizens hospitals. He has done his MBBS from MRMC Gulbarga, DNB Pediatrics from MIMS hospital, Calicut, Kerala and DNB Medical Gastro from KIMS Hospital Hyderabad. He has overall experience of 14years in the medical field. He has expertise in performing most of the diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including UGI endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Polypectomy, EVL Banding, Stricture dilatation, ERCP and bile duct stone extraction, PEG placement and endoluminal stenting. He is well experienced in managing Gastrointestinal, liver and pancreaticobiliary diseases both in adult and pediatric age group. He is well worded in handling most of the emergencies like G.I Bleed, Hepatic encephalopathy, severe pancreatitis, cholangitis etc. He has presented interesting cases, posters and seminars at various platforms at the regional and National level CMEs/conferences. He was awarded with “Presidential poster award” for his work in liver cirrhosis in the conference held by INASL in New Delhi in 2018. He is also a life member of Indian National Association for Study of Liver diseases.
