Dr Sankeert Gangakhedkar,has joined our hospital as Consultant Retina& Vitreous Surgeon. Dr Gangakhedkar is University Topper in MS ophthamology examination at Dr NTR University of health sciences,AP. This was followed by a fellowship in Surgical Retina and comprehensive ophthalmology from LV Prasad eye institute Hyderabad. Dr Gangakhedkar has an expertise in performing in over 2500 Ocular Surgery at LV Prasad eye institute. Dr Gangakhedkar has presented several papers at national and international conferences. He has secured best surgical video award at Asia Pacific vitreo-retinal society (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia)along Travel grant bursary award in research at Asia Pacific vitreo-retinal society, South Korea His areas of expertise are Diabetic Retinopathy, Retinopathy of Prematurity .
