Dr Dipika Deka

Dr. Dipika Deka is a Consultant of ‘Fetal Medicine and Genetics’ at Cloudnine Hospital Gurugram. Fetal Medicine deals with the Diagnosis and Treatment of Congenital malformations and Genetic disorders in the baby inside the womb (before birth), and in the parents. She passed MBBS from Guwahati Medicial College securing Gold Medal for 1st merit position, and MD also from GMC. She did Senior Residency (AIIMS Delhi), and joined as Assistant Professor(Obstetrician / Gynecology), (AIIMS Delhi) in 1988. Prof. (Dr) Dipika Deka is a pioneer in the super-speciality of Maternal-Fetal-Medicine in India, established the Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Division, (AIIMS Delhi). Dr. Dipika Deka is one of the first persons in India to be trained abroad in Fetal Medicine, in UK and USA. She has been training Faculty, FM Fellows and Observers in Fetal Medicine; and has been routinely performing highly skilled Prenatal Diagnostic and Therapeutic Procedures.
