Dr Anjali Nayar

Dr. Anjali Nayar completed her MBBS degree from Lady Hardinge Medical College,New Delhi in 1985.She further got her post -graduate degree MD Paediatrics from Safdarjung Hospital ,Delhi in 1989.An avid academician she pursued further studies and completed her MRCP Paediatrics in 1999 and got Membership of the Royal College Of Paediatrics and Child Health(England) in 2001.She was later elected as Fellow of the Royal College (FRCPCH) in 2004.She was awarded the CCST(Certificate of completion of Specialist Training) in England where she worked as a Consultant in the National Health Service(UK). Dr. Anjali now has over 28 years of wide and varied rich Paediatric experience.She has been associated with leading Hospitals like Kalawati Saran Children's Hospital,Delhi,Ministry of Health,Oman and St Peters and St Heliers Hospitals in England.She has been involved in the teaching and training of Medical Students,Post Graduates and Nursing staff throughout her career.She has excellent communication and organisational skills. Dr. Nayar is a trained Neonatologist and has a special interest in Infant nutrition and growth and development,and respiratory illnesses like Asthma in childhood .More recently she became a Master trainer in Adolescent Life skills and newborn resuscitation.She is actively involved in research in the Survival,Protection and development of the girl child. Interestingly Dr. Anjali is multifaceted and has been a theatre artist and has sportsperson who has been running half marathons.
