AIf you are experiencing severe lower abdominal pain after receiving an injection or taking medication, it is critical that you seek immediate medical attention. This type of pain, especially if it is sharp, constant, or getting worse, could indicate a serious problem. Urgent warning signs include accompanying symptoms such as fever, vomiting, bloating, dizziness, fainting, low blood pressure, or an inability to pass gas or stool. These could point to potentially life-threatening conditions such as an allergic reaction to the injection, appendicitis, pelvic inflammatory disease (if you're female), ovarian cyst rupture, drug-induced gastritis or bowel spasms, or even an internal injury or abscess at the injection site. Do not delay—go to the nearest emergency department right away or call 108 (in India). Be sure to take the injection vial or the name of the medication you received, and inform the doctors of any other symptoms you’re experiencing, such as nausea or bleeding. Until evaluated by a medical professional, avoid eating or drinking anything unless specifically advised.
