Dr Asit Khanna

Dr. Asit Khanna, a first generation doctor in a family of engineers and MBAs, joined MBBS at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in 1992 and went on to complete MD in medicine, with honors, from the same esteemed university (BHU) in 2000. After his MD he shifted back to his home city i.e. Delhi and underwent training in cardiology as senior resident at Maulana Azad Medical College and G.B. Pant Hospital from 2001 to 2004. He did his super specialization, i.e. DM in cardiology, subsequently from the same college from 2004 to 2007. Since September 2007 he is associated with Narinder Mohan Hospital and Heart Center, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad as consultant interventional cardiologist and is the visiting cardiologist to almost all major hospitals in the the last 3 years he has conducted more than 3000 angiographies and 1000 angioplasties and pacemakers in his hospital. Having a strong sense of social responsibility, Dr. Khanna regularly conducts heart health check up camps, awareness campaigns and free distribution of medicines among the needy. Apart from that, he is a quite sought after speaker for guest lectures and seminars to spread awareness about various heart ailments like hypertension, diabetes, cholesterol, angina, heart attack different cities of western up.
