With nearly two and a half decades of expertise in cardiological intervention, Dr Balakrishnan has served as consultant cardiologist and head of the department in Muthoot Medical Centre, Kozhencherry, and Lourdes Heart Institute, Kochi, before moving to Sunrise and extending his services to Cath Lab director as well. A committed healthcare professional, he is specialized in interventional cardiology and has performed a number of diagnostic procedures, therapeutic interventions and interventional procedures, such as angioplasty, and has treated several heart conditions including congenital ones.
