Dr Vivek Bindal

Dr. Vivek Bindal is a Robotic, Bariatric and Hernia (AWR) and Laparoscopic surgeon. He is the Vice-Chairman, Institute of Minimal Access, Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (iMAS) & Institute of Robotic Surgery (IRS),  Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. He is the founder and Regent of Clinical Robotic Surgery Association (India). He is the Director of Delhi Gastro & Obesity Center (Clinic), 4/17, West patel Nagar (Metro pillar 198), New Delhi. He has done his fellowship in Robotic Surgery from University of Illinois at Chicago, USA. He was a faculty member at Duke University, USA. He is committed to welfare of patients as the first objective and strongly believes in sharing the knowledge by teaching and training. He is the sectional editor (Robotic Surgery), Journal of Minimal Access Surgery, and is the editorial board member of Surgery for Obesity and Related Diseases, USA. Dr. Vivek Bindal has been involved in advanced research in the field of robotic bariatric surgery and abdominal wall reconstruction, including clinical outcomes and technology development and also in developing training curriculum in robotic surgery for surgeons and residents.
