Dr Shasthry SM

Dr. Shasthry SM is a Hepatologist at Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences, New Delhi. He has special interest in the areas of alcoholic liver diseases, gut microbiome and its metagenomics in liver disorders, endoscopic procedures and management of emergencies in the area of hepato-pancreato-biliary diseases. He has obtained MD General Medicine in 2009 from Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, Ajmer, Rajasthan Health University and later completed DM in Hepatology from Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, New Delhi in July 2014. Presently working as Assistant Professor, Department of Hepatology at ILBS since September 2014. He is also the faculty in charge of emergency services and the setting of emergency SOPs.
