Dr. Pawan Gupta is a senior vitreo-retina specialist at ​Eye7 Chaudhary Eye Centre, Lajpat Nagar. He is an eminent vitreo-retina and uveitis specialist. He did his MS ophthalmology from PGIMER, Chandigarh, one of the most reputed institutes of the country. He further did extensive training in vitreo-retina and uveities at Advanced Eye Centre, PGIMER Chandigarh. He had been a head of department in vitreo-retina and uveities at Venu Eye Institute and Research Centre. He is one of the pioneers of anti-VEGF therapy in India. ​ He has many awards and honors to his credits at various conferences. He has contributed to renowned medical journals especially on uveities and three dimensional optical coherence tomography. He has several publications in national and international journals. He has been a part of ground-breaking research in the fields of diabetic retinopathy, central serous retinopathy, uveitic hypotony and ocular effects of dengue fever.
