Dr Naresh Bansal

Dr. Naresh Bansal is a consultant in the Institute of Liver, Gastroenterology and Pancreatobiliary Sciences at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. He is also associate professor, Gripmer. An astute gastroenterologist, liver specialist, endoscopist, and transplant hepatologist, he pursued MBBSfFrom the S.M.S. Medical College, Jaipur, MD (Medicine) from the J.I.N. Medical College, Ajmer, and DND (Gastroenterology) from the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi. As a committed doctor, he has undergone many advanced courses and trainings, including the ‘liver transplant update course’ conducted by Pancreato Biliary & Liver Diseases Foundation, Singapore, 'The Science of Motility: Advances & Opportunities in Chronic Constipation & Ibs Course’ conducted by the John Hopkins University & School of Medicine, USA, ‘Bedside Teaching, Research Methods & Evaluation Course’ conducted by the National Board of Examinations in New Delhi, and the ‘Radiofrequency Ablation Course’ conducted by the European Society of Interventional Radiology in Greece. He has 100 publications and more than 80 presentations to his credit. He holds several key memberships in prestigious medical professional bodies including American Gastroenterological Association. He has been bestowed with many awards. He received the bikaner chapter award by API and the best poster award by the society of Gi endoscopy of India in 2006. He has received awards from many dignitaries for medical excellence including vice president of India and director, Aiims. he has also been honoured by various NGOs from time to time for his service to mankind and society. He has organized various free camps in Delhi and remote areas of Haryana and Rajasthan. He has been instrumental in raising awareness about hepatitis B and C and in holding various free vaccination camps. He is a keen author and his medical articles are very popular amongst many newspapers.
