He has pursued MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, and MD in General Medicine and DM in Endocrinology from All India Institute Of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. Dr. Khandelwal has attended and participated in various national and international conferences and workshops. He is the member of American Diabetes Association (ADA), an endocrine society of India, Indian Society Of Pediatric And Adolescent Endocrinology (ISPAE), and research society for the study of diabetes in India.
