Dr ( Maj Gen ) D S Bhakuni is an MBBS graduate from the prestigious King George's Medical College Lucknow. He completed his MD ( internal medicine ) from AFMC Pune and further underwent 2 years long training in Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology from Sanjay Gandhi PGIMS Lucknow. Dr Bhakuni has a distinguished service with the Indian Armed Forces for 36 years and has amassed a wealth of clinical experience as a Rheumatologist of repute for last 20 years. Beside working as Rheumatologist in tertiary care hospitals in Pune and Lucknow he has also headed the department of Rheumatology in prestigious Army Hospital R & R Delhi for 6 years and trained many young Rheumatologists for their DNB degrees in Rheumatology. He has proficiency in intra articular injections to provide quick relief to the arthritis patients.
