Dr Bharat Bhushan Chanana

Dr. Chanana is trained and experienced in a wide range of investigations and treatments in the areas of noninvasive and invasive cardiology. These include various types of Echocardiography investigations, Doppler studies,Holter testing and Head Up Tilt testing. While at PGI Chandigarh, he obtained experience in various procedures such as Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterisation,Temporary Pacemaker Implantation and Permanent Pacemaker Implantation. Before his current posting at Maharaja Agrasen Hospital, Dr. Chanana has been a Consultant Cardiologist at several hospitals in Delhi, including Khosla Hospital, Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, Saroj Hospital and St. Stephen's Hospital. Dr. Chanana has special expertise in the Transradial approach to Coronary Angiography and Angioplasty. He has performed over 18,000 diagnostic and interventional procedures through the Transradial route.He presented the first-in-world case of Transradial Abdominal Aorta Stenting at TCT, Washington, in 2010.
