Dr Anuj Dogra has over 23 years of experience in Orthopaedics. After his post-graduation, he went to England where he pursued further education as well as worked there for about 8 years. During his 8 years in the United Kingdom, Dr Anuj Dogra excelled in his Registrar-ship & later went on to being appointed as one of the youngest Locum Consultants at the prestigious Medway Maritime Hospital. He came back to India in 2002 and has since been a Senior Consultant and Orthopaedic Surgeon running his own private practice in Delhi and working with various hospitals like Fortis, Alchemist etc. Dr Dogra’s is a Specialist in Joint Surgeries, Back and Neck pain and Sports Medicine. Although he is a surgeon, he believes non-surgical methods and rehabilitation have their own strong place in resolving orthopaedic problems. He has performed over 4500 Joint Replacements including Hip Resurfacing, Total Hip Replacement & Total Knee Replacements, Unicondylar knee replacements etc. with an exemplary success rate of over 98.5% (including the commonest post-operative complications of infection & DVT). Dr Anuj Dogra is an expert in key hole surgeries and performs Arthroscopy surgeries of the Knee, Shoulder as well as Ankle joints. Dr Dogra is an Instructor for future Joint Replacement Surgeons (through Courses & Workshops organized in UK & in India) and has presented 50 Academic papers in the National & International forums. He has publications in peer reviewed international journals and his book has been mentioned in Campbell Textbook of Orthopaedics – a must read for all Orthopaedic Surgeons.
