Prof Dr. Su. Thillai Vallal, MD, DM, FRCP (Glasgow), FACC (USA), FESC (France), FCSI, FISC, FCCP, is one of the prominent and successful Cardiologist in Chennai. He is known for his academic excellence and has been a very good teacher in Madras Medical College and Stanley Medical College in Chennai. He actively participates in the various national and international Cardiology conferences and has contributed a lot in teaching and guiding youngsters especially in the field of Cardiology. He has a good acumen in the clinical diagnosis and management of all Adult Cardiology Patients. He was the chairman, Board of Studies in Allied Health Sciences, Tamilnadu Dr.MGR Medical University. He is a member of Inspection Committee of Tamilnadu, Dr.MGR Medical University for granting affiliation for conducting various academic courses in Chennai City Hospitals and Academic Institutions. He is also a panel member for Tamilnadu Health Systems Society, Govt of Tamilnadu funded by World Bank. He has been awarded “Best Doctor Award” of the Tamilnadu Dr.MGR Medical University, Chennai for distinguished service in the field of Cardiology on the occasion of World Heart Day. He has also been the teaching faculty of the Tamilnadu Dr.MGR Medical University as the Adjunct Professor of Cardiology of Dr.MGR Medical University. He is an active member of the Cardiological Society of India, Association of Physicians of India, Indian Medical Association and European Society of Cardiology. For his excellence in Education and Experience, he has been awarded as the Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology. He has also been awarded Fellowship by the Royal College of Physicians (Glasgow).
